SRC & Collectives

Student Representative Committee

The SRC is a student based group that meets once a month to discuss issues affecting students at Ourimbah Campus. Areas of interest may include state and national student issues as well. The SRC is open to any student to attend and you can nominate to hold a position if you have a particular area of interest such as Women’s Officer, Transport, Sexuality, Environment, Education, Indigenous or International.

Collectives

The Collectives are also student run groups which operate with the support of Campus Central. Currently we have a Women’s Collective and an Environment Collective. If you would like to get involved please see Catherine in the Campus Central office.

Environment Collective

The group is for students interested in environmental issues at all levels – local, national and global and aims to promote awareness of issues to the campus community. Previously, the EC has held a planting day and BBQ; movie night fundraiser and a spotlight walk at local Katandra Reserve.

Omar’s update April 2009
