The Board of Directors is the governing authority of Campus Central. The Board consists of six elected university students, one elected graduate student from the university, one elected TAFE student from the Ourimbah campus, one elected staff representative, an appointed representative of the Director of the Central Coast Campuses, one appointed representative from the University of Newcastle Council and the CEO.
It is the Board’s responsibility to govern Campus Central by making policies and procedures.
They are also there to represent the members to ensure that the company operates in the members’ interests.
Even though the term of a Director is only one or two years they also think of the long term future of the company and act accordingly.
